The campus parking system will be renewed in the beginning of 2024

The aim of the renewal is to move to a more modern parking system. With the new system, users will be able to see available parking spaces in the parking app, making it easier to find a parking space. The system will also offer the possibility to charge and heat the car, with billing based on consumption. It has been found that the university's parking spaces have also been used by some who would not be entitled to a printed parking permit. The change will increase the availability of free parking spaces.

Parking price

The parking system will include a small parking fee. The parking fee for staff and students is 8 cents/hour + 39 cents starting fee. The initial fee is charged each time you start a new parking session. This means that for parking for over 7 hours at a time, the daily cost is approximately €1.03.

The parking must be logged as started each time the car is parked. In the evenings and at night, i.e. between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., there is no hourly charge, only an initial charge (39 cents).

The parking application is logged in using the HAKA ID and the system recognises you are entitled to the internal rate.

Guest parking will follow the prices for on-street parking in the area. Guest parking costs €1.5 per hour and €12 per day on weekdays. On Saturday and Sunday the maximum daily rate is €8.

Instructions for the application are coming soon.
