Are you thinking about graduating and moving towards working life? This course aims to develop skills obtained in academia and transferring them to working life. The course provides opportunities to work in multilingual and interdisciplinary teams, raising awareness of the conventions of language and communication needed in diverse teams.

XENX037 E-Learning Module: Presentation Skills Toolkit (2 ETC)
Would you like to develop your presentation skills? This online course provides opportunities to develop skills needed to give a purposeful and effective academic presentation. Through independent work, you will familiarize yourself with core aspects of presenting. The course introduces different topics such as presentation structure and using sources in a presentation.

XYHX1012 Critical thinking: level-up your arguments (3-4 ETC)
Can you win an argument without shouting? Can you detect when you are being persuaded? In the age of deep-fakes and large language models, resilience to persuasion has never been more important. This course aims to make students better at arguing, in speech and writing, and at evaluating others’ arguments. Students learn to recognize biases and fallacies and correct them. Moreover, argumentation is practiced with others to strengthen English skills. After completing the course, students are more equipped to conquer academic challenges and succeed in their chosen field.
