The new version includes the following usability improvements particularly requested by JYU:
- If a student has added courses using direct confirmation into their calendar but forgotten to register, Sisu will send an automatic notification.
- Student and academic services staff can register custom course credits for individual students without an application if needed (e.g. supplementing RPL attainments).
- The transcript of records is packaged into a smaller file size.
Other examples of new or improved features:
- Browsing open university courses, the first version of a shopping cart and purchasing, open university study rights and corresponding administrative functionalities. Open university functionalities are being tested and thus not visible yet.
- Presenting courses and registering for cross studies. Sending registered attainments to the home institution. Testing cross study functionalities will begin during 2023.
