The new version includes the following usability improvements particularly requested by JYU:

  • Misregistering a grade on an implementation empties it from the Assessment page
  • Study administration can download electronically signed certificates of student status and transcripts of records
  • User interface for administering tuition fees
  • Study administration can misregister attainments (including custom course credits and included attainments) in the student’s Completed studies page
  • The Transactions -page will show the education the student’s application is related to
  • Study administration can cancel any module content applications made on behalf of the student, or revoke their acceptance
  • CEFR middle levels available for courses
  • New implementation types: blended teaching, contact teaching, distance teaching and online examination

Other examples of new or improved features:

  • A separate search page for open university studies (open university studies in JYU have not yet been added to Sisu so the search does not work), electronic identification and customisable order confirmation messages
  • Accessibility improvements on the course brochure and a student’s profile, plus other smaller accessibility improvements
  • Presenting courses and registering for cross studies. Sending registered attainments to the home institution. Testing cross study functionalities will begin during 2023.
