QS World University Rankings Europe 2024: Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ ranked among the world’s best universities

The list comprises only 685 top universities in Europe. Therefore, any position in the list is an achievement. The list includes ten universities from Finland. The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ was ranked the seventh highest of Finnish universities.
The top positions were given to ETH Zürich in Switzerland and to Imperial College London and University of Oxford in England.
The ranking is based on five indicators with different weight: research and discovery (based on reputation, citations and papers per faculty) 45%, employability and outcomes 20%, learning experience 5%, global engagement 25%, and sustainability 5%.
The indicator in which JYU ranked the highest, 38th in Europe, was learning experience (faculty student ratio). Also the number of arriving exchange students was found good.
