Product Development Funding - apply before 5th February

Product Development Funding of Startup Factory is meant for students, researchers and education organizations personnel to invent new products and services and to start developing or further developing them.

When: the Product Development Funding event will be on February 19th, 2024
(Apply no later than February 5th, 2024)

The funding can be used, for example:

  • for testing
  • purchasing supplies
  • tools
  • expertise.
  • The funding is only for new ideas – companies cannot apply for the funding.
  • Please note that the funding cannot be granted to cover the salary costs or the purchases of such items that would be recorded in the balance sheet of a future company (trademark, equipment, or tools, for example)

To get the funding, the Product Funding board evaluates the business potential, the project plan, and the plan of using the fund as well as the presenter’s own commitment to the project. The amount of funding is from 500 to 1000 euros. The budget is prepared with VAT 0% prices.

Recipients:

The product development funding is intended for the students and personnel (including grant researchers) of Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ and JAMK University of Applied Sciences.

Fill form to apply to. Fill in your information and write a short description of your project! To apply for the funding, you must prepare, in advance, a 10-minute presentation of your project that is presented to an evaluation panel (approx. 5–7 people). Application period ends on February 5 th, 2024Those selected will be informed about the selection separately and they get an invitation and instructions.

Selection criteria:

The application criteria for the funding include business potential, a concrete project plan and funding targets, and the commitment of the owner of the idea to keep promoting the business operation after the funding period.
