Our contract includes the Digital skills and Power skills content areas of the service. The service is constantly updated to ensure both up-to-date content and to help users find interesting and relevant learning content.

, you can search for individual courses by selecting a subject area and using keywords. You can also use filters to further refine your search results. Another option is to explore the content of Eduhouse using the tabs on the service. I encourage you to explore the pre-built Learning paths, where you will find a wider range of videos on a given topic. The sections of the learning path are listed in numerical order and the path typically consists of total at least several hours of different content, some up to almost 30 hours. By completing all the parts of the learning path, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the topic in question. 

±«²Ô»å±ð°ù Collections tab, you will find more limited collections of video recordings. A training module can be either one longer video or a set of several shorter videos, typically 1-2 hours in total. ±«²Ô»å±ð°ù Courses tab you will find the individual course modules. 

N.B. scheduled Digital classrooms trainings are only for staff members, not for students. 

Unfortunately, there is far less content in English than in Finnish in the Eduhouse environment, especially under Power skills. If you understand some Finnish and can browse Eduhouse content in Finnish, you may be pleased to hear that subtitles are available for many of the Finnish-language recordings. In the future, a subtitled option will automatically be available for all Finnish-language recordings.

Eduhouse is a free online training service for the JYU community, where you can independently develop your digital skills and work-life skills to support your work and wellbeing. Self-study modules are always available and you have the flexibility to study content at your own pace. The modules are split into small sections, consisting of short videos of a few minutes at most. They are also easy to return to at your convenience.
