Participate in brain research! The Active Mind research group is looking for participants

The Active Mind research group is looking for participants for its multiple studies. Part of the studies increase knowledge about foreign language learning, especially the meaning of interaction for language learning. These studies have participants learn either the phonology or semantics of words. They also investigate how pronunciation develops in different learning situations.
Part of the studies focus on face perception and social interaction generally. These studies also recruit so-called special groups, such as athletes, people who experience loneliness, or people who identify as anxious or depressed.
All the studies require so-called controls, that is, participants who do not significantly experience loneliness or anxiety and depression. The study of athletes is looking for participants who do not fit the standard of a physically active lifestyle.
Could you help the researchers investigate the principles that relate to human communication?

Note! Prospective participants should speak Finnish as their first language.
