Our students rated the JSBE’s sustainability as good - the feedback helps to improve education

JSBE has received a good score this year in an international indicator of positive impact. The Positive Impact Rating is an assessment by students of how well their business school is implementing sustainability in its activities. The rating is based on ranking universities according to what is best for the world, not what is best in the world.

JSBE participated in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) for the fourth time now. This year, as last year, the rating was 3/5. Dean Hanna-Leena Pesonen appreciates the feedback given by own students highly.

- After all, they are our most important stakeholder group! The feedback given by our students about JSBE’s impact and responsibility work is extremely important. This was the fourth time we took part in the PIR Rating, and each time the results have taught us something new how to improve our education, highlights Pesonen.

In the PIR evaluation, students assess the effectiveness of their higher education institution from different perspectives, such as education and engagement. Through their rating, students give their recommendations to other students interested in responsibility.

This year, 110 of our students assessed the JSBE’s sustainability. As usual, the evaluation was carried out by . Warm thanks to them for this work.

This year, 77 business schools from 30 countries worldwide participated in the Positive Impact Rating.
