New composition for the reference group of the Sisu introduction project

The new reference group will start on 1 January 2020. The group will have representatives selected from all Sisu user groups (four students, four teachers, four representatives from study administration, two main users), in order to form as well-rounded and representative a group as possible.

The reference group’s task is to bring up end users’ views on the introduction, service processes and functions of the systems as well as to assess and define the content and properties of the outcome in order to meet the demands of users and customers. Some of the reference group members can also serve as testers of these systems. The reference group will have a meeting about four times a year and when needed.

Proposals for student representatives are requested from the Student Union, and proposals for teaching staff representatives are requested from vice-deans in charge of education and from the directors of independent institutes. Service Manager Riikka Hurri will propose study administration representatives from the teams of Student and Academic Services and Service Manager Heta Koski will propose main user representatives from the Sisu introduction project team.

The composition of the reference group will be decided by Finance and Service Director Päivi Seppä, based on the proposal of the steering group for the digitalisation of education and learning.

The reference group’s next and last meeting in the present composition will be held on Tuesday, 11 December.
