The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ has moved from major subject-based degrees to degree programmes on 1 August 2017. Starting from 1 January 2021 all students study according to the new education structures of degree programmes.

  • Continuing your studies in 2021: Moving to a degree programme means you are required to make a new study plan in Sisu once your study right has been transferred. Starting on January 21st 2021 the remaining major subject-based study rights that have an annual registration (attendance or non-attendance) are transferred to degree programmes. Faculties will inform students once this process has been completed (weeks 3-4). Read the instructions as well as answers to frequently asked questions here (Full English translation will be finished during December).
  • Graduating by the end of 2020: Students who have started their studies before autumn 2017 can graduate from the major subject-based education mainly until the 31st of December 2020. Major subject-based degree applications as well as any course credits included in the degree need to be completed by 31 December 2020. Degrees and course credits are registered by January 20th 2021.

If a student does not have an annual registration, and returns to their studies later, the study right is transferred individually alongside the normal activation process.
