Kiihdytin hiukkasen -physics competition returns next autumn
High school students and their teachers have another rare opportunity to conceive an experiment to be performed at the Accelerator Laboratory of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥.

For the second time, the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will organise the Kiihdytin hiukkasen -competition for high school students. Together with mentors from the Accelerator Laboratory, groups of students can propose their own project or experiment exploiting state-of-the-art instrumentation in one of the leading European accelerator research infrastructures. In the previous competition, topics ranging from investigating the radiation hardness of satellite components to determining the mineral composition of soil samples were addressed.
