JYU management and Funidata discuss the seriousness of Sisu usability problems – corrective actions on the way
The primary goal of the meeting was to process critical feedback from JYU users on the usability problems of the Sisu system. In the meeting, the university’s demands and a list of critical improvement requirements to the Sisu user interface and usability, recognised by JYU users, were passed to Funidata’s management.
Funidata has already sent the university a tentative plan for corrective actions. Dialogue with Funidata about the implementation of the suggested actions and more specific schedule will be continued and led by the Rector. Concrete development actions will be communicated separately later.
“Together with the University Board, the message about the problem’s criticality to our community has now been conveyed as strongly as possible,” says Rector Keijo Hämäläinen. “Now we also must find quick solutions.”
