Join the FORTHEM Buddy Programme!

As a JYU student, you are a member of a larger European university network, and you have fellow students also in Mainz, Dijon, Riga, Opole, Palermo, Valencia, Sibiu and Agder! With the FORTHEM Buddy Programme, you can connect with them and make friends all over Europe.

The goal of the Programme is to bring together students from all FORTHEM universities with activities taking place entirely online. It is a great and easy way to gain international experience, getting to know new people, countries, cultures and universities that you may visit if you choose to travel to another campus through one of the many opportunities for international mobility offered by FORTHEM. You will become more confident using foreign languages and also have a chance to share what Finland and Jyväskylä are like.

If being actively involved in the planning and realization of the activities of the Programme sounds interesting to you, you can also join as a Buddy coordinator! As a coordinator, you will work together with fellow student coordinators from other FORTHEM universities, developing and realizing activities for the Buddy Programme. Coordinators can freely choose what activities to carry out. For example, last year’s activities included language exchanges, movie nights and group study sessions.

The Buddy Programme will start in November, while Buddy coordinators will already start the planning in October. Join the Buddy Programme and build something new together with fellow students!
