Hey international student - join Local Friendship Programme!
While you're studying in Jyväskylä, Finland, would you like to get to know more about living in Finland and learn about our culture? Maybe even find out the secrets that make Finland the happiest country in the world, five times in a row. (The researchers already know the answer, of course, but we don't want to spoil your interest by revealing it ).
If so, you are welcome to join our Local Friendship Programme, which brings together local families or individuals, i.e., "local friends", and visiting international students. There's more information and application details on the website.
Please note that the application deadline is 15 August! You can also ask your fellow student(s) and apply together if you wish. And of course, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our team at localfriendship@jyu.fi.
