Digital entrance examinations limit the use of wireless networks and facilities in different parts of the campus in May-June – Check impact on studying!

Changes to furnishing and electric wiring
Digital examinations require temporary arrangements to electic wiring and furnishing in some classrooms. In auditoriums, preparation for digital examinations is visible mainly as extension cords placed next to seats. In addition to wiring, also furnishing may be altered in facilities with flat floors.
The arrangements have an impact on the following facilities:
- Agora
- Ag Alfa (B122.1)
- Ag Gamma (B222.1) and
- Ag Beeta (B121.1)
- MaD
- MaD207
- Liikunta
- L209.
When necessary, it is possible to arrange teaching and exams in the facilities reserved for entrance examinations in days other than the days of entrance examinations and when electrical assembly and furnishing are made. However, it is not allowed to change the electrical installations or furnishing set up for digital examinations between the examination sessions. Due to the electric wiring installed, caution should be exercised when moving around the premises. In that time, students cannot reserve these facilities for their personal use.
In addition, permanent charging plugs have been installed in the auditoriums of Agora, Mattilanniemi and Liikunta. These have no effect on the use of the facilities.
Wireless networks out of use during entrance examinations from 17 May to 9 June
The recommendation of the supplier of the entrance examination system used for new digital examinations is that other wireless networks on the campus should not be used during the entrance examinations to ensure network capacity and avoid disturbances. During the digital examinations, students and visitors cannot use the wireless student, guest and eduroam networks.
Wireless jyu-student, jyu-guest or eduroam network is not available 17 May at 11.00 –10 June at 9.00 in the following buildings: Agora, Liikunta, MaA and MaD.
