Do you have a team of startups, research groups, innovators and/ or students? Or are you a student or researcher willing to join?

BioBoosters bioeconomy business accelerator and the network are organizing 5 innovation competitions – Hackathons – to solve circularity and sustainability challenges for leading bioeconomy companies around the Baltic Sea Region. Winning teams – SMEs, startups, research groups, innovators and students – are offered an opportunity to start a commercial co-operation or joint piloting of their solution idea. Teams are attracted via open call and the challenge provider company will select the teams with most interesting ideas to join the Hackathon process. In the Hackathon, the teams will work on their idea with the help of mentors and the experts of the challenge provider company to design a solution & co-operation proposal for the challenge provider. Hackathon is a meeting place that sparks co-operation between business and research.

The teams selected to the BioBoosters hackathons will get a compensation for their travel costs to attend the Hackathon days. However, online participation is also possible.
