Apply now for a FORTHEM Short Term Mobility, deadline 22.11.2022
FORTHEM Collective Short-Term Mobility
Collective mobilities are about five-day-long intensive courses where students work together according to a set timetable. About three students from each partner university get selected for each course. A collective mobility offers you a chance to create your own networks and to gain experience on working in an international group. Selected students will receive a grant for travel, as well as for accommodation and meals.
FORTHEM Individual Short-Term Mobility
You can apply for an individual short term mobility period if you want to visit one of our partner universities to work on your thesis project, for example. For the visit, you need to have an invitation letter and an academic host from the partner university, so it is advisable to start the preparations for the application well in advance. The individual short-term mobility can last maximum 5 days. You will agree about the timetable individually with the host university but the mobility needs to take place before 31 August 2023. The next application period will take place in the spring 2023 for mobilities taking place between September 2023 - August 2024. Selected students will receive a grant for travel, as well as for accommodation and meals.
Credit transfer
It is possible to get credits for the FORTHEM short-term mobility courses. You can apply for credit transfer in Sisu after the mobility. Attach the course certificate granted by the organizers where the amount of work hours is stated. If you have questions regarding credit transfer, please contact your department's education coordinator.
