A research group published an AI hosted podcast on digitalisation

The CPSS research group at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ has launched its own Beyond Bits and Services podcast series about digitalisation. The series deals with research on digitalisation in an understandable way.
The research group is focused on the study of digitalisation in organisations and aims to create value through the development and study of technologies that have a significant impacts on organisational practices and human behaviour.
"The podcast is aimed at anyone interested in digitalisation. We want it to be an easy way to keep up to date with digitalisation research in general, but especially with what our research group and the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ are doing at the monent", says leader of the CPSS research professor Tuure Tuunanen.
AI allows a new episode to be published on a frequent schedule
One of the unique features of the podcast is that it is largely generated using artificial intelligence. AI is used to summarise the research and manuscript the podcast, after which the audio track is generated also with an AI.
"AI allows new episodes to be published at the same pace as new research papers are published. Our aim is to have a new episode every couple of weeks or so," says Tuunanen.
The team has long been interested in making the latest research data easily accessible through social media channels. According to Tuunanen, the podcast is a natural next step in this development.
"The podcast is easily accessible and free of charge to everyone who is interested. It provides research information in a snappy and quick-listening format", Tuunanen sums up.
The first published episodes will cover service robots, digital service design and digital coaching.
