The Jyväskylä University Botanical Garden consists of a park of nearly 36 hectares, including the green spaces of all three JYU campuses, Seminaarinmäki, Mattilanniemi, and Ylistönrinne. When walking on any of them, you are walking in the botanic garden! Look around, spot plant names and admire the flowers!

Plant collections

The large plant collection includes approximately 570 plant species and about 18,000 individual plants, on which the Botanical Garden maintains a database.
