We educate experts and future professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs. Our research is high quality, impactful and well-known. Business and economics have been taught in Jyväskylä since 1967.

Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics is internationally AACSB, AMBA and BGA accredited, and we conduct high-quality research and provide high-quality business and economics degree and MBA education based on it.

We educate academic experts, managers and entrepreneurs for service to society at all levels of academic education (bachelor, master, and doctoral) and MBA education. We also offer business and entrepreneurship education to students from other disciplines at our university.

We offer education in eight different disciplines: Accounting and Corporate Finance, Commercial Law, Corporate Communication, Corporate Environmental Management, Economics, Management and Leadership, Marketing, and Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Our vision

JSBE is an internationally renowned business school acknowledged for supporting competitive, digital, and sustainable transformation in business and economy. By 2035, JSBE aims to be accredited by AACSB, AMBA, BGA, and EQUIS.

JSBE Faculty Council

The Faculty Council is a multi-member administrative body, elected every four years.

The Faculty is administered by the Faculty Council, the Dean, the Vice Deans, the Head of Faculty Administration, and the Head of Academic Affairs. The work of the Faculty is led by the Dean. The Faculty Council consists of repsesentatives of professors, other teaching and research staff, and students. The Faculty Council of the JSBE generally has their meeting once a month.
