Table of contents
When you are planning your study path as a doctoral student, we highly recommend that you keep Movi's research communication courses for doctoral students (their code starting with XDOC) in mind. These courses can be included in your study plan as part of your compulsory or optional studies. Due to the popularity of these courses, we recommend that you plan your participation in advance. Think about what type of support you need in the current stage of your doctoral studies. At any point of your doctoral studies or when encountering new challenges in your research, you can explore the selection of courses and find those that suit your needs at that point. In SISU, simply use the search code “XDOC” to quickly access all information about the courses. Should any general questions arise, feel free to get in touch with us at movi@jyu.fi. For queries or issues related to specific courses, we recommend reaching out directly to the respective course instructor.

Please bear in mind that some of the courses are offered only once, while some twice during the academic year. Please check this information carefully when planning to attend the courses. Please also note that some of the courses are held on campus, while others online, so remember to check the implementation format if it is relevant to you.
Lastly, with regard to registration, please cancel your registration if you find yourself unable to attend the course. By doing so, you’ll enable your peers on the waiting list to take your place. Should any questions or concerns arise, don’t hesitate to contact us via movi@jyu.fi.
