Registration and application for non-degree studies

As a rule, registration for non-degree studies provided by faculties and Movi is done through the ILPO portal. If the studies cannot be purchased through the ILPO portal, you should apply for the study right with the form for separate study rights. See the below instructions for the registration and application process.
Separate study rights entitle the student to take study modules or certain study units provided by faculties and the Centre for Multilingual Academic Communication (Movi) without the right to complete a degree. Read more about the separate study rights.
According to the Degree Regulations of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ (Section 11), a faculty can grant separate study rights for such studies that are not available as JYU Open University studies. Please first check whether the study unit or module is available in the Open University’s study offering.
As a rule, registration for non-degree studies is made through the A separate study right is granted automatically upon registration for the study units or modules purchased through the ILPO portal. The faculty and Movi define the non-degree studies for which there is a direct registration through the ILPO portal. Below, you can find links to the pages of the study offering for continuous learning by faculties and Movi; the pages specify the non-degree studies that can be purchased directly through the ILPO portal.
If the studies cannot be purchased through the ILPO portal, you should apply for the study right with the form for separate study rights.You can do this for individual study units orstudy modules. The form can also be used for applying for additional time for expiring study rights for non-degree studies.
