The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is involved in a number of field-specific and multidisciplinary networks that bring together expertise from several universities and offer flexible study opportunities. JYU degree students can take network study modules as part of the optional studies of their degrees.

Study rights for specific network study modules provided by the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ are granted to students from outside JYU.

Cross-institutional study

In case of networks and cooperative universities that have implemented the national Cross-Institutional Study Information Service (RIPA), the study right is created when the student registers for the studies of the cooperating university in the information system of their home university. The study right is transferred through a secure API interface as a network or cross-study right to the target university. With regard to network or cross-study rights, it should be noted that registering for a course does not necessarily guarantee access. After the registration period has ended, Sisu tells you whether or not the registration was confirmed.
