Student Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Plans

The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ has a substance abuse prevention programme which is designed to support student wellbeing and provide a safe learning environment. The substance abuse prevention programme aims to prevent harm caused by students' substance abuse when it affects their academic performance and their ability to study.

The key is to increase students' own awareness of the impact of substance abuse on their wellbeing, studies and working life, and to offer guidance and support to students as early as possible.

The substance abuse prevention programme includes guidelines on how to act at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ when encountering issues related to substance abuse. The substance abuse prevention programme also provides information about the consequences that may result from being intoxicated or behaving inappropriately during studies or internships.

The aim of the alcohol and drug abuse prevention programme is to

  • promote study and work ability,
  • promote students' health and wellbeing,
  • prevent sunstance abuse,
  • facilitate intervening in the student's substance abuse problem, and
  • improve treatment guidance.
