Icons
There are five icons next to the user's name in the toolbar. The first icon directs to the shopping cart where you can see possible open university courses you have selected, and you can proceed to the payment. The second icon directs to all messages, the third notepad icon directs to the course cart and the question mark icon opens the Sisu guide website in a new tab. The last icon (star) opens a quick feedback feature that allows you to send numeral feedback to the developers of Sisu.
By clicking your name on the upper right corner, you can open a drop-down menu, where you can change the language of the user interface (FI/EN), send feedback or support requests (link leads to HelpJYU portal) and log out of Sisu.

Graphs
The student's front page shows graphs illustrating the status and progress of studies by showing the average grade, annual target for credits as well as the percentages of planned and completed studies. The graphs are based on the primary study plan corresponding to the study right in question.
The average grade is weighed. It includes the number of credits in each completed course as follows:
- Course A: 3 ECTS, grade 5 -> 3 x 5 = 15
- Course B: 5 ECTS, grade 4 -> 5 x 4 = 20
- Course C… etc. (calculation is repeated with every course)
After this the results (15+20+…) are added together and divided by the total number of ECTS from all completed courses (e.g 8 ECTS as above): 35 / 8 op = 4,375
The annual credit target is based on the recommended completion time of degrees, 60 ECTS a year, 180 ECTS (bachelor level) in 3 years, 120 ECTS (master's level) in 2 years. Underneath the percentages are numbers illustrating planned and completed studies compared to the total number of credits in the degree programme.

Completed studies are calculated from those courses that have been added to the primary study plan corresponding to the study right in question. If a student has more than one active study right, the degree programme viewed in the graphs can be changed from the arrow button after the name of the degree programme.
The arrows below the graphs show separate graphs about the modules and subheadings that belong to the degree programme. The number of planned/completed credits with regard to the required amount are shown below the percentage. Currently the graph does not work as intended, and might show the wrong degree programme, and does not take into account all modules and subheadings from the study plan.
