Use your library card
Use the barcode on your library card on MyJYU when borrowing books.
You can find your library card in the "Add" menu of the app. You can either retrieve your existing library card or create a new card for yourself using the app.
Check your daily schedule and the menu of your favourite campus restaurants
With one glance, check what is happening today and tomorrow. MyJYU calendar automatically updates your calendar feed from the Sisu calendar.
After checking your schedule for the day, why not decide in which campus restaurant you want to have lunch today. By setting your own dietary requirements from profile settings, you can easily see which campus restaurants offer food that fits your diet. You can check the price and ingredient details for every dish from the "Restaurants" tab.
Find your way on campus and make reservations for study spaces
MyJYU's built-in campus map helps you navigate around campus. You can search for a lecture space both on the campus map and by clicking on the orange navigation link. Clicking the link will take you directly to the room on the map.
On Android, you can reserve a space using the map on MyJYU.
On iOS, you can book via the MyJYU service directory. From MyJYU, open the "Add" menu, navigate to the service directory and select the study space reservation.
Find a space
- Search for a space using the map service or click on a space on the map. This will open a speech bubble with a link to the Kovs calendar -booking calendar if the space can be booked.
- Clicking on the link in the speech bubble will take you to the booking calendar for the current day. You can also search other days or view the whole week.
Log in and make a reservation
- Log in from the top menu of the calendar or by pressing the booking button.
- Click on the booking view for the desired space and time, and select the duration of the booking, which can be 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The booking form can also be opened from the booking button in the header bar.
- Reservations can be made up to maximum 4 hours a day and up to 5 days in advance.
- Once logged in, you can also delete your reservation by clicking on the trash can icon.
Keep up to date
Read the latest news from the university and check out upcoming events. In the service directory, you will find quick links to the most relevant services and use the search function for more detailed information. MyJYU also allows you to view your own academic records.
