In the Music and Science MA programme, internship in Finland or abroad is optional. A typical length for the internship is 1 - 2 months. The internship may be conducted in a traditional job format (paid or volunteer) in an organization featuring clear contexts of the field.

You need to design and negotiate your internship plan with Marc Thompson or Esa Ala-Ruona well in advance before the beginning of your internship. Completing the internship requires planning a learning contract before your internship and writing a final report 4-6 weeks after your internship.
