Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ at the Jyväskylä Book Fair 22-23 November

Jyväskylä Book Fair brings together literature and culture enthusiasts at the Paviljonki Exhibition and Event Center on November 22–23, 2025. University's Science for All activities will be at the event – check out our stage program and come and visit our stand!
In 2024, at the Jyväskylä Book Fair, the alumni coordinator, Heli Mäki, had a discussion with the economist, Mika Maliranta.

Science for All activities of Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will participate in the Jyväskylä Book Fair on 22-23 November 2025.

At our stand B-420, you can get up-to-date information on upcoming public events, workshops, exhibitions, and study opportunities open to everyone. We'll also have some really inspiring books from our researchers and experts for you to read!

The stage program will feature discussions on conversation culture, education, and working life. The discussions will held in Finnish.

  • Pekka Mykkänen: Likainen somesota. 
    Saturday 22.11. at 11:00 a.m., Jyväsjärvi-stage
    A discussion about the poisoning of Finnish debate culture. The interviewer is Alumni Coordinator Heli Mäki.
     
  • Seela Sella and Tuija Saresma: Sivistyksen vuoksi.
    Saturday 22.11. at 4:00 p.m., Jyväsjärvi-stage
    Two of the book's 32 authors, beloved performer Seela Sella and professor of cultural studies Tuija Saresma, discuss education and the good life. The interviewer is Helmi Jyrkkänen, coordinator of JYU.Wisdom. The book has been edited in collaboration with JYU.Wisdom - School of Resource Wisdom and Jyväskylä Festival.
     
  • Saana Rossi: 12 väärää ajatusta työelämästä.
    Sunday 23.11. at 2:30 p.m., Valo-stage
    A discussion about the transformation of working life. The interviewer is Alumni Coordinator Heli Mäki.
