The works in the exhibition present children's activities, important objects and places, and the different seasons and emotions they experience. You can see artworks from different artists and periods. All of the works together make up a picture of childhood as a play that goes on through different times.
In addition to the artworks, the exhibition also features traditional wooden toys and games. You can try building with Fröbel's blocks, playing with Juho Jussila Oy's beloved Jukka wooden toys, and solving the Chinese puzzle game Tangram. All the toys and games in the room are for playing.
We encourage not only children but also adults to play!
Admission to the exhibition is free during museum opening hours: Wed-Fri 12 – 17, Sat 12 – 16
