In this colloquium, docent Elsi Hyttinen (UTU) and doctoral researcher Ate Tervonen (JYU, UTU) from the Figuring Nature in the North -research project will join us to discuss how environmental change is imagined and explained in contemporary Finnish literature, what literary research does and can do for planetary well-being, and why it is central to connect cultural perspectives with knowledge provided by natural sciences to respond to environmental crises.

This colloquium will be in Finnish. More information on the event and a link to the live stream can be found on the Finnish event page (please switch the page language to find it).
