We support a wide range of workshops conceived and organized by members of our community throughout the year. Our next workshop will be held on Thursday, January 8, and its theme will be cultural wellbeing when moving from one cultural environment to another. In the workshop, we will hear about the similarities and differences between the cultures of wellbeing in Japan and Finland as a case study by Yuna Terawaki.

We especially invite those who experience the combination of two or more cultures in their lives. For example international staff and students, and also Finnish students who have plans to study abroad to join to hear and explore thoughts about wellbeing in different countries.

This workshop aims to achieve three goals:

Firstly, help participants to understand wellbeing academically and practically.
Secondly, explore how wellbeing varies across cultures. Case example from Japanese culture
And thirdly, support each participant in building their own, personalized approach to wellbeing and support it in multicultural setting.

Welcome to the workshop!
