A Full Professor Raija Hämäläinen works in the field of digitalization in and for learning and interaction at the Center for Research for Learning and Teaching at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, Finland. Belonging to the elite or the top 3% in the world, JYU research center is among the leading European research groups in learning and teaching. Hämäläinen's research interests include collaboration and creativity at the higher education (HE) pedagogy, technology-enhanced learning and workplace-learning. She has participated in one publication that has defined the research area of collaboration scripts, and it has become one of the standard references in such an area. Hämäläinen has been the principal investigator / leader of several research projects. She has designed a long-term research line that focuses on learning, teaching, and the related interaction processes, for example in HE and work place contexts. Hämäläinen's work has been based on active international collaboration. In practice, her international collaboration efforts include, for example, visits to international research groups and joint high-level publishing Hämäläinen's recent publications include articles, for example, in Computers & Education, British Journal of Educational Technology, The Internet and Higher Education, Computers in Human Behavior and Educational Research Review. She is a well-recognised keynote speaker on novel methods (e.g. ; 7th International VET Congress 2022; International conference on research in VET 2021), an associate editor of Educational Research Review (IF 10.207), a profiling area leader in JYU, and WP leader in a Centre of Excellence (). Hämäläinen has wide international networks (member of BD, Community Committee coordinator).
