Esittely

My main interests comprise developmental neuropsychology, with a particular focus on the multimodal nature of the cognitive and intrapersonal processes that enable or hinder learning during the development. Issues within the development of mathematical skills, mathematical learning disabilities, and interventions accordingly form my core foci.

I am affiliated with the following projects:

The Centre of Excellence for Learning Dynamics and Intervention Research (InterLearn) theme group II, which focuses on the co-occurrence of learning difficulties and mental health problems in children during development. The aim is to investigate a wide range of factors influencing this developmental trajectory and explore their intricate interactions.

A consortium project, which aims at developing a technology-assisted intervention game with algorithmic adaptation to enhance pupils' basic arithmetic skill fluency - in particular multiplication and division - on the elementary school path. Our project is funded by Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation.
