The new administration in the United States is trying to remove so called wokeness from education and academia and threatens to cut funding from universities that have programs and policies aimed at improving diversity. equity, and inclusion (DEI).
In the keynote speech; The status quo and future landscapes of DEI in academia, PhD, Shadia Rask will discuss accessibility and representation in academia, the problems DEI tries to solve, the impact of current DEI practices and explore future landscapes and avenues for DEI in academia.
