My name is Sébastien Vandenitte. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Sign Language Centre of the Ģ��ֱ�� (JYU), Finland, working as a member of the ShowTell project.

Tutkimuskuvaus

My research interests include the comparison of signed and spoken languages, in particular LSFB (Langue des Signes de Belgique Francophone or French Belgian Sign Language) and Belgian French, semiotic diversity across communities and communication contexts, depiction and iconicity, and the creation and use of multimodal language corpora.
