LFYS006 Thesis Seminar I (5 cr)
Learning outcomes
Support the writing of the thesis. After completing the course, a student is able to:
鈥� create a scientific research plan in which the topic鈥檚 focus, research question and methodology are appropriate
鈥� arrange sources/citations and background knowledge clearly and logically in a review of literature
鈥� present and defend his/her own research plan
鈥� integrate principles of research ethics to his/her own research plan
Study methods
Seminar 30 hours.
Active participation in the seminar and presentation of the final research plan.
Content
Planning the thesis: developing research problems, clarification and definition of the concepts, defining the research area, finding and assembling of references, and presenting a literature review and research a plan.
