Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, student is able to:
- recognize and describe basic quantitative research methods
- analyze, interpret and report results fulfilling the basic requirements needed for successful completion of the Master’s thesis

Study methods

Lectures 14 hours, practical demonstrations 14 hours

Content

The course includes basic principles of applying quantitative methods to data collection, description and summary of data (summary statistics), and statistical estimation and testing (i.e.confidence intervals, t-test, oneway-ANOVA, correlation, chi- square).
