Learning outcomes

Advance the knowledge of research methodology by becoming acquainted with the essential research methods used in your thesis. After completing the course, a student is able to:
• select appropriate methods for his/her study
• critically evaluate the reliability and validity of chosen methods
• critically evaluate study data
• integrate theoretical knowledge with study results and draw conclusions

Study methods

Research methodology seminar (24 hours), where students present scientific reports on different research methods and prepare a written survey on selected research methodology.
Examination on the reports and surveys.

Content

Getting acquainted with the essential literature and analysing methods used in the area of exercise physiology.
