LFYS003 Research Methodology in Exercise Physiology (6 cr)
Learning outcomes
Advance the knowledge of research methodology by becoming acquainted with the essential research methods used in your thesis. After completing the course, a student is able to:
鈥� select appropriate methods for his/her study
鈥� critically evaluate the reliability and validity of chosen methods
鈥� critically evaluate study data
鈥� integrate theoretical knowledge with study results and draw conclusions
Study methods
Research methodology seminar (24 hours), where students present scientific reports on different research methods and prepare a written survey on selected research methodology.
Examination on the reports and surveys.
Content
Getting acquainted with the essential literature and analysing methods used in the area of exercise physiology.
