LBIA032 International Research Symposium (1-3 cr)
Learning outcomes
To get acquainted with the state of the art problems in the field of Biology of Physical Activity. After completing the course a student is able
to describe different methods, their theoretical background and their association with physiological phenomena
Study methods
For students of the Biology of Physical Activity, the Symposium is part of the advanced studies as informed by the responsible Professors (VTES012, BMES012, LFYS012). Additional credits (1-3 ECTS) may be obtained through the course of LBIA032 Kansainv盲linen tutkimussymposium / International Reseach Symposium. Students can receive 1 ECTS point by visiting 5 lectures of 30-45 min length and submitting a corresponding 5 page summary where one page covers one topic. Two or 3 ECTS points you will earn by multiplying the amount of work, respectively. Two 15 or 20 min lectures with corresponding 2 half-page summaries are calculated as one 30-45 min lecture.
