Learning outcomes

On successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
- appreciate the theoretical variety, complexity, and multidisciplinary nature of theories on entrepreneurship
- have developed a deep and rich conceptual framework to support their own thinking on entrepreneurship, as a phenomenon that emphasizes thinking, action, and opportunity obsession
- be able to justify their own theoretical thinking, through classical viewpoints and by applying the most recent lines of research streams.
- be able to think and act entrepreneurially

Contact teaching course, autumn semester 1st period. The study methods of the contact teaching course are specified in the study program annually.

Content

Theories on entrepreneurship will be approached on multiple levels and from diverse multidisciplinary perspectives, with the aim of painting a broad picture of conceptual thinking in the field of entrepreneurship. A variety of theoretical viewpoints will be seen as having high practical value, in relation to the day-today challenges faced in the field of entrepreneurship, and also in terms of developing ethically sound and sustainable business practices and innovations.

Assessment criteria

Accepted completion of the designated assignments. The assessment criteria of the course is specified in the study program annually.
