Learning outcomes

On successful completion of the course, students will:
• be able to describe the central developments of global economy
• be able to describe, compare, criticize how and why companies do international business
• be able to describe, and compare how and why the business environments in different countries are different and how they affect the actions of companies
• be able to describe, compare, criticize, apply and present their knowledge on entry strategies, entry modes, and cross-border business operations

Content

This course introduces the students to the basic concepts and phenomena of international business. It concentrates on central theories of international business, foreign operations modes and role of culture in international business.
