Content

Critical evaluation of the state of the environment in Finland or the whole world including: prerequisites of sustainable development, renewable and non-renewable energy and natural resources, climate change, loss of biodiversity, development of communities and urbanisation, contamination of the environment and harmful substances, threats to human and nature health, waste management, and environmental protection policies.

Prerequisites

Attended BENP1001, BENP1002 and BENP1004 before participating in the exercises of this course.
