Content
The goal of the course is to familiarize the student with the multi-sited and multi-layered questions of language education policy. The course deals with language education policy not only from the point of view of language policy and education policy, but also from various other societal, political and economic viewpoints. The course focuses on language education policy in different educational levels, and from the viewpoint of working life, and special groups such as linguistic and cultural minorities. The course also deals with the societal aspects of language assessment. The student may focus on the language education policy of a particular country or group.
