DEVS700 International Internship (5-10 cr)
Learning outcomes
Students will understand the organization and workings of development organizations (international, inter-governmental, national or local), and will acquired the basic practical and analytical skills required to perform successfully in such working contexts.
Study methods
The practicalities of an exchange/internship period are to be agreed upon with the programme coordinator.
Content
The DEICO programme allows for students to pursue an internship with a firm or organization active in the area of international development. Alternatively, students can take advantage of Jyv盲skyl盲 University鈥檚 diverse academic exchange networks in Europe and elsewhere. Many students seek to combine an internship/exchange period with data collection for their MA thesis.
