Osaamistavoitteet

On completion of this course, the student will be able to
- know how to function in a demanding project requiring language and cultural expertise
- plan and implement a project according to the project agreement and present its results
- produce the deliverables stipulated by the project such as project plan, project reports, and the end product, taking into consideration the goal and user group of the project
- be aware of the level of his/her intercultural and professional competence and capable of evaluating it
- be motivated and capable to further develop his/her professional skills in the interface of theory and practice
- recognize different career options and professional skills.

Suoritustavat

The course can be completed either by attending a face-to-face course (offered every other academic year), or by completing another suitable project course offered by other instances at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ and the possible extra assignments related to it. In case of a face-to-face course, the study methods include lectures, assignments, project work and portfolio.

On this course, you get to know the basics of project planning, project management, and project implementation. You acquaint yourself with the practical implementation of tasks requiring cultural and language expertise and documents necessary for the planning and implementation of the project. You plan and execute a project as a member of a team and produce project deliverables as stipulated in the project agreement.

Passing the course requires completion of all required assignments in line with stated learning outcomes. An 80% attendance requirement is applied (on a face-to-face course).
