Osaamistavoitteet
On completion of this module the student will
-know why body and gender are important areas of study within ethnology and anthropology and what are the critical perspectives they offer to our understanding of society, individual and culture
-recognize the challenges inherent in ethnographic research on body and gender as well as the significance of the researcher's gender, embodied subjectivity, age and ethnic background in ethnological research
-have a broad awareness of ethnologically-oriented researchers and research directions related to body and gender
