Upon completing of the course the student will be able to
鈥� Recognize the way in which English has developed over time and across different geographical spaces
鈥� Be sensitive to the role of English as an international language in different contexts
鈥� Better appreciate the political nature of language education
鈥� Critically consider how to address cultural issues when teaching foreign and additional languages
